Upcoming Exhibitions & Workshops

A few upcoming this-n-that’s:

I will be with husband and friends at the opening reception of the Carnegie Center for Art & History’s “Form Not Function” exhibition this coming Friday. Read more about the show HERE, including a list of other included artists.

The Gateway Arts Center in Mt. Sterling, a recently renovated church into a terrific visual and performing arts center, is featuring a few of my pieces as the “Artist of the Month”. I’ll also be hosting an embellished textile workshop there in early March.

And more workshops . . . in April, I’ll be at Sew To Speak (click HERE) teaching a limited number (only 6 spots in the class due to space) workshop on embellished textiles in April. Watch for specific date, but it will be a Saturday or Sunday in mid-April. I’ll also be teaching in Minneapolis for the annual international Surface Design Association conference, Confluence in June, and my friend Juliette Montague and me will be teaching ULTIMATE ASSEMBLAGE (whoo!) at CraftSummer 2011, Miami U of Ohio this summer.

Pete and me are also going off to the “das Vaterland”, aka Germany, this spring just for a little bit. We’re going to Munich in addition to the standard family hinterlands, which I am SO EXCITED about. You will be able to find me HERE and HERE
