Shows comin’ on down

Things are starting to wrap up on the exhibition front. Artworks in shows in Ohio (Concourse Gallery), Kentucky (Winchester Opera House Gallery and “Evolving Traditions” at Lexington Living Arts and Science Center) will all be coming home soon. As they do, I’ll be building my Etsy.com site (I’ll post the link here as soon as it’s up and running) to promote and MAYBE sell work, including everything from the big ticket large embellished assemblages to the small pendant necklaces I mentioned in the last post. I’ve poo-pooed the idea of Etsy to sell my work, but people have repeatedly stated that more expensive artworks do indeed sell there, so here’s a chance to prove what I assumed was an Internet myth (vs the urban type).

Here’s me in some weird pose whilst “art talking” at the reception at the Concourse Gallery in Upper Arlington, Ohio. Another rare opportunity to wear my fancy Barcelona dress by Desigual. Not a lot of events in Farmers KY to wear it – probably too dressy for Cave Run Bingo. Just a hunch.
